Everyone – from the receptionist to the president – needs to know what kind of a job they’re doing. That’s what performance management is. But unfortunately, performance review has become a one-size-fits-all process – but that’s starting to change.
Although it’s just a small percentage, more companies want to put technological insights into use to help them improve their performance evaluations. This is even as the majority of companies realize that those same evaluations don’t actually help employees in any way.
Instead, what is hopefully happening is a more organic review process that’s less rigid and more focused on combining input from employees. This graphic illustrates the change to come.
